After a successful 2023, we are hiring for an Associate Director to join us in a leadership position to inherit, grow and take on responsbility for one of our highest performing teams in our London HQ. We are looking to speak to experienced leaders that have worked in any Life Sciences or STEM sector with over 5 years’ experience (preferable but not essential). The right candidate will have a background in both running a successful desk and leading teams of 360 recruiters at all levels.


The role:


This opportunity is based in our London office, and will come in to take over our Therapeutics division. This team consists of 15 with projected headcount to 25+, and is made up of 6 managers and mix of senior consultants/principal consultants all vertically aligned across the Life Sciences space. The role will report to our Global Head of Permanent Staffing, bringing 10 years of experience solely in Life Sciences Recruitment.


The role offers a huge amount of autonomy and trust to build out both your team and your desk, and the chance to develop your career quickly to Directorship in a meritocratic and supportive culture. You will work alongside a highly experienced and internationally recognised senior management team (5+ years with SA on average) and an exceptional Learning and Development function based in our London office.

What we are looking for:


Experience mentoring, supporting, and developing consultants at varying levels of experience (junior consultants through to Principal), ideally having worked closely with L&D to create training plans. A strong evidenced background within recruitment, ideally in a transferable market and an in depth understand the various models available and benefits associated with each offering. Ideally 5+ years working in a 360 capacity across your market. A demonstrable track record in placing middle and senior management candidates within the life sciences industry, maintaining both the candidate and client relationships. Experience balancing growing a desk and managing a team. A solution-oriented, results focused, tenacious and driven approach to work.

On a day-day basis the core duties for this position will involve:
To achieve consistent and rising revenue generation within the specified vertical of the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical sector. To drive the development of new clients within the target vertical, by agreeing working agreements and established terms of business with Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical companies. Develop leads for new business and conduct business development.
