Job Summary
Business Development
• Develop and implement effective individual business and sales plans to achieve growth targets
• Monitor and report on activities and performance to management and at team meetings as required
• Support Manager in the planning and implementation of business development events as part of the overall sales plan
• Work with Manager to initiate business networking through professional bodies, industry groups, client and candidate referrals to build personal and corporate profile with customers
• Where required, assist in the preparation of tenders for preferred supplier business and Where appropriate, participate in the presentation of client agreements
• Continuously develop market and specialism expertise
Leadership & Culture Management
• Lead by example in exhibiting behaviours which support a high-performance culture and the Stott and May values
• Demonstrate support of corporate and management initiatives
• Contribute to team business plans
• Lead team in managers absence, where appropriate
• Mentor and/or coach trainees and consultants where needed
• Assist manager/managing consultant by taking a leading role in business development activities
• Support a culture of continuous learning and development
Recruitment Process
• Facilitate the end to end recruitment process
• Effectively manage any client dispute or escalate as appropriate
• Provide expert, specialist advice and recommendations
• Assist Manager in the development and implementation of candidate attraction initiatives
• Ensure Stott and May brand is represented professionally in all candidate attraction strategies
• Effectively manage any candidate disputes or escalate as appropriate
• Demonstrate effective use of database, including the timely and accurate documental of all business activity adhering to all relevant legislation and polices including social media
• Support management in driving the team’s commitment to system integrity
• Assist management in training team members to maximise their use of the database and systems
• Lead by example in adhering to Stott and May recruitment methodology and service delivery standards
• Continuously work to improve the quality of customer service to sections client and candidates
• Work with Manager in the management of key accounts and ensuring compliance to preferred supplier contract and service level agreements
• Maintain a high candidate care score by ensuring a good service is provided to candidates and survey responses are chased regularly
